This May, Fluency Tool introduces Dark Mode, upgraded speech recognition, and a revamped Reading Immersion screen with sentence mining and Grammar Scramble integration. Enjoy a faster, more intuitive experience tailored for Japanese learners.
1. Dark Mode Implemented
Dark Mode is now available on most screens, enhancing usability in low-light settings. Minor UI color contrast issues on some screens will be fixed soon.
2. Upgraded Speech Recognition
Speech recognition and accuracy checking are now faster and more reliable, delivering quicker results for spoken practice.
3. Mic Timer & Echo Fluency Fix
Fixed (hopefully) the recording bug affecting the Mic Timer and Echo Fluency toggle for smoother audio practice.
4. Flashcard Deck Cloud Backup
Flashcard decks now support cloud backup, ensuring your progress is safe and accessible across devices.
5. Sentence Mining & Grammar Scramble
Mine sentences from the Reading Immersion screen or anywhere online for flashcard decks and Grammar Scramble. Choose from easy, medium, or hard modes with spaced repetition and dictionary support. User flow improvements are underway.
6. In-App Dictionary Upgrade
The in-app dictionary has been overhauled for better performance across the app. Display logic tweaks are in progress.
7. Rebuilt Reading Immersion Screen
The Reading Immersion screen now loads faster, parses content more accurately, and includes direct links to Japanese media and JLPT resources. Export vocabulary to Anki with example sentences and resume where you left off with content caching.
8. Dashboard UI Redesign
The dashboard has a fresh, intuitive design for a smoother user experience on all devices.
