Fluency Tool Product Updates - January 2025

We’ve been hard at work on new features and improvements for Fluency Tool, and we’re excited to share them with you! To kick off the new year, we’ve focused on refreshing the UI and introducing some powerful new activities that we hope you’ll enjoy.

1. General UI Overhaul

We’ve refreshed the app’s design with:

  • Modernized button designs.
  • Improved alignment and spacing.
  • New color schemes for a cleaner look.
  • Consistent layouts across the screens.

3. Bug Fixes

Thank you to our amazing users for your valuable feedback! Your bug reports through the in-app reporting tool have been crucial in helping us identify and fix several issues, improving the app's stability and performance.

4. Updated Recording Screen UI

The recording screen now features a revamped layout, making navigation and interaction more intuitive.

5. Visibility Toggle for Hiragana

Thanks to user feedback, you can now show or hide hiragana on the recording screen to tailor your practice sessions.

6. Auto Advance in Recording Screen

Another user-inspired feature! The Auto Advance option streamlines practice sessions by moving to the next item automatically.

7. Reading Immersion Activity

Introducing the Reading Immersion Activity, a powerful study tool for intermediate learners:

  • Parse words and add hiragana to kanji.
  • Access dictionary tools for translations.
  • Export content to CSV for Anki or spreadsheets.

8. Tutorials for New Activities

We've now added basic tutorials for the Reading Immersion and Grammar Scramble activities to help you get started, even though the Grammar Scramble tutorial is long overdue!
